Danielle Jocson's Page

Hello!! My name is Danielle Jocson. I am a SENIOR at Chamberlain College of Nursing. I will be graduating June 2013 and cannot wait to finally pursue my dream of becoming a nurse!! It took me awhile to get here. I started with a bachelors degree in Public Health at Northern Illinois University and just waiting until I can finally hear the words that I got accepted into a nursing school! Finally it came and cannot believe how fast time has come and now I have about 5 months until graduation!!! In regards to what kind of nurse I want to be in the future...honestly if I could I'd do it all...but hopefully someday I want to work in the ICU or become a nurse practioner for a cardiologist. 

Just a little about me. I am probably the weirdest person you will ever meet. I live for spontaneity and  living every day like it's your last!! I laugh all the time and probably have seen every movie (don't worry I don't bust out quotes on you)! I am truly passionate in everything I do. I love to spend time with my friends, eat good food especially dessert, and working out. I love going to the movies, going to sporting events, and sometimes laying on the couch is just what I need.  I believe in miracles and I do believe that everything happens for a reason!

Being in the nursing program has taught me so much. I have seen so  much and could only want more. I want to continue to learn and grow as a nursing student so hopefully one day I can conquer the nursing world!!!

As I take the next step in my nursing journey, my classmates, teachers,  and a few other medical professionals I will meet along the way will be conquering the Philippines for the International Nursing Service Trip! I cannot wait to learn about the culture, the people, and test my limits! I am ready!! So this page serves to read about my journey taking care of our patients, the culture shock, and etc. So hope you find it interesting and maybe learn something from it! Thanks for reading!

To my best friends: Christina, I love you so much. You are my sister. My blood. My everything. I am so lucky to have you in my life. I can't wait to become a nurse so I can take you and Hailey to Disney World! 

Lauren, please behave while I am away haha! On a serious note you deserve the world and wish I could give that to you! 

To Andrew:  We have been blessed with the love we have shared together. You will always be my best friend and the first  person I will call if I found out the world was going to end. I am so proud of the person, the nurse you have become! I have only hope.....
